Since it's establishment in 1974, BSP has grown within his market. Starch production capacity in 1974 at 30 metric tonnes per day, increasing to 200 metric tonnes per day In 1980 and more recently through intensive capital investment production capacity is in excess of 750 metrics tonnes per day PT. Bumi Sari Prima (BSP) is located in northeast Sumatera, in close proximity to the major source of raw material, tapioca roots, grown in Indonesia. Its location is a major contributing factor to the company becoming the largest single integrated producer of starches in Indonesia, providing year round access to raw material for the manufacturer of tapioca starches.
